An antique cuckoo clock made by the American Cuckoo Clock Co of Philadelphia, Pa.It is 21 1/2 tall (not including the pendulum) and 13 1/2 wide.It is beautifully inlaid but missing half of its upper decoration.The 2 pieces hanging down from the roof look like additions but apart from that the case is in good condition.The original beautifully carved bone hands are both there but the hour hand has had a repair and the securing nut is missing. The numerals are also made of bone.The works looks to be all there and in good condition though one chain and both weights are missing.The bellows are both there but the tops have become detached due to damage to the leather.The pendulum is original and in good condition. It has its original label on the back. This clock was purchased in Ohio from an estate 10 miles south east of Caldwell the person had purchased clock 30 years ago in an antique shop. Very nice original patina on the original finish. Has the pine cone weights. Circa 1880 s . Measures 38 length and 26 width, Clock is in working order, however if shipped most clocks will need to be tuned and adjusted.
