Huge Antique…black forest cuckoo clock – circa 1800’s Rare..See the quality of the carvings on this clock.. This is a beautiful hunter motif, ….but….not the normal run of the mill hunters motif clock…look at the pictures…. The clock was said to come out of Austria Age: c.1880 large and very rare black forest cuckoo clock !!! Coming out from a hunt mansion in Kirtzbühel/tyrol !! Very rare and hard to find !! Condition: it is in very good condition - 2 small repairs on topper !!! . I have enclosed pictures of the 2 small repairs to top…. I personally have had it running on my wall for several months and it runs perfect. This is a large….large….beautifully carved impressive clock…. Measures: 28 inches tall, 18 ½ inches wide and 11 inches deep. Not measuring the pendulum. High rare black forest carving !!!! Not run of the mill carving….of a fox , hare and quail !!!!! RARE !!!! Please look at all details of this wonderful clock !!! The carving is intricate….delicate….detailed…..lovely. I have not seen another as detailed and beautiful as this one. I would add little to it…..such as… I do not know exactly how old it is…but would guess circa 100 yrs old…maybe older…as owner stated….and the quality of this clock is not in doubt. Other hunter motif clocks will not hold a candle to this clock in quality of carving. This clock was purchased in Ohio from an estate 10 miles south east of Caldwell the person had purchased clock 30 years ago in an antique shop. Very nice original patina on the original finish. Has the pine cone weights. Circa 1880 s . Measures 38 length and 26 width, Clock is in working order, however if shipped most clocks will need to be tuned and adjusted.
