YOU ARE BIDDING ON A BEAUTIFUL. RARE, EXQUISITE GRANDFATHER CLOCK. THIS CLOCK IS WONDERFUL AND IN PRESTINE CONDITION. THIS CLOCK, TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE WAS MADE IN GERMANY AROUND THE EARLY 1900 S, THIS PUTS IT AROUND 100 YEARS OLD. I DO NOT KNOW WHO THE CLOCKMAKER WAS, MAYBE YOU DO. IT HAS WESTMINSTER CHIMES THAT SOUND JUST BEAUTIFUL. IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL SOLID WOOD CASE, WITH A BRASS FACE AND COPPER NUMBERS AND MEASURES 77 TALL X 20 WIDE X 10 DEEP. THIS IS AN 8 DAY CLOCK AND CHIMES ON THE QUARTER, HALF, THREE QUARTER AND HOUR, EACH HAVING A DIFFERENT CHIME PATTERN. IT HAS RECENTLY BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED AND OILED BY THE CRAFT-RITE CLOCK SHOP IN CHURCHVILLE PA. IT IS IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION AND IS KEEPING PERFECT TIME. THE CLOCK IS ORIGINAL WITH ORIGINAL MOVEMENT, WEIGHTS, PENDULUM, GLASS & CASE. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE CLOCK, HAVING OPPOSITE SIDE CHAIN PULLS, AND A VERY RARE UNIQUE MOVEMENT. THIS CLOCK IS BY FAR ONE OF THE NICEST CLOCKS I HAVE SEEN. THIS IS DEFINATELY A GREAT INVESTMENT, SURE TO CONTINUE TO RISE IN VALUE THE OLDER IT GETS. THIS IS A COLLECTORS DREAM CLOCK, ONE TO BE CHERISHED AND HANDED DOWN FOR GENERATIONS TO COME. THIS CAN BECOME A WONDERFUL FAMILY HEIRLOOM. ALTHOUGH I WAS TOLD A SPECIALTY CLOCK AUCTION WOULD BE THE WAY TO GO WITH THIS, I FIGURED I WOULD TRY EBAY, SINCE THIS IS THE EASIEST FOR ME.
